Does anyone know how you can find out if a school or program is Accredited?
I”m looking for a certification program for medical billing and coding. I’ve found a lot of info online but unsure if they are really accredited.

When you think about as medical biller certification, keep in mind that while billing and coding go hand in hand, they’re not exactly the same. Just because you have billing experience does not necessarily mean you have coding experience. Ideally, medical billers should have certification in both coding and billing.

What would be required of them in 2010 in regards to updating their knowledge/certification? Is it difficult to re-learn this information or is it structured in such a way that makes it easy and not time consuming? How do physicians react to all of this?
