Coding jobs tend to be regional. Check online for coding companies that will let you work at home.

I’m also trying to find a job but in CA. I think it’s just the economy. Nobody’s hiring.

Is the certificate a requirement? If not then it could hurt you as the employer would rather hire/train an uncertified coder who will do the same job for much less money.
