   You’d have to apply for positions. The salary range varies dependent upon the size of the practice or hospital, the region/location, years of experience and certification.

   ICD-9/CPT coding requires a cerificate/degree in medical coding.

   Also if you go for a job as a coder in a hospital, you will get more ththan for a private practice.
