I’m a college student and I want to know more about Medical Coding& Billling?

I am wondering if anyone has experience in medical coding & billing? Is it a decent/good career to have? How much would you guess coding & billing makes?

What one considers a decent career is solely based on that person’s perceptions. Personally, I believe there are better earning jobs out there, but they all require more education than the educational requirements for medical coding and billing programs. The good thing about this career is that it is always in demand. There will always be a need for coding and billing specialists.
You can expect to make (in your first year) between $19,000 and $22,000. After you have gained some valuable experience, you can earn up to $45,000 in a good market. Most people that are making that much in this career have been at it for more than 10 years.
